Ythad

Ythad is a band, and a little more, and a little less.

Created at some time around 1996 or 1997, we’ve been through numerous incarnations, with line-up and name changes. We stabilised as a trio in 2005.

We have recorded a bunch of musical pieces over the years. A dozen of them is already available as our first album, and some more are coming right now.

Our goal is to translate through sounds and words our various feelings and thoughts. We’re presenting a music based on rock/metal but mutating and evolving, just like human minds, going through peaceful moments but also through anger or despair.

The band is mainly devoted to writing songs. Our live gigs are very rare and will stay this way. Our main activity is recording, studio is our natural environment.
